General Motors and The Electric Car

GM is receiving a lot of flack about its electric car (the Volt) that is supposed to come out in 2010. I do not see why bloggers badger GM about this car on GM's blog. And it is prevalent.

Yes it is a fact GM fumbled in the past. But now they are fighting for their corporations life, and it is time to show some consideration. I am not saying a full time rally around them is what is needed, but constructive criticism without the naysaying would be much more of an advantage to GM and the consumer.

If the Volt does make it out by 2010, this would be a major breakthrough in battery technology. It would help emission control tremendously and reduce petroleum intake. For this I don't think GM should be punched in the nose.

It will take great strides in General Motors engineering, but I for one am behind it. GM is trying!
