GM in bankrupty would cause repurcussions throughout the U.S. Of course the Midwest would suffer intensely, but so would the nation.

Wall Street would have a domino effect occur, as one calamity would set off others (real and perceived). Already banks are not giving out loans and they have been given 100's of billions of dollars from the gov't.

Other manufacturers would possibly hurt worse in "sympathy." And as stated before, Wall St. doesn't take kindly to this really bad news.

It would be the wrong move. And it would cost at least a $100 billion!
